 Our Town  

Silt River Preserve is a 132-acre conservation easement and wildlife preserve owned by the Town and located on County Road 346, south of the Colorado River. The Town completed many public projects in 2012, including erecting DOW approved wildlife fencing, a community garden and irrigation facilities.

The Town of Silt borders the Colorado River
on the north and the south, with two river
parks that are perfect for casting a fly. Island
Park is located on County Road 311
has a boat ramp and over a 1/2 mile of river edge
to find that great spot. Silt River Preserve is a
conservation easement located on County Road 346
