DOG LICENSES
The owner of every dog in town shall pay a license fee to the Town of Silt. Residents are allowed up to three dogs. Owners must provide proof of rabies vaccination, and dog licenses shall coincide with the term of the vaccination, not to exceed three years from date of inoculation. Licenses are $20 per dog, and $10 per dog for seniors. Dogs adjudicated as aggressive are $125. Dogs adjudicated as vicious are $200. Dog Park
Island River Park, aka "Doggie Park" is the only park in Town that is designated as a "rest area" where dogs are allowed off-leash. Island River Park is located just across Interstate-70, off of County Road 311. In all other parks, dogs must on a prescribed ten-foot leash.
